Portrait of a Lone Wolf won't be released until February 20th, but the first reviews are great and I want to brag a little. Mostly because I don't have another blog post ready to go!

This book is amazing!. The story line is thrilling!. Plus the characters are fantastic!. Sela Lopez Wants to do a documentary on the Los Lopos wolves. So she rents a cabin on the mountain. Rio is a Wild life Ranger there who agrees to help her. Rio can not believe his luck when he gets a smell of Sela she is the one he has waited all his life for his mate. Not only that but he can smell she has wolf in her as Rio is a wolf shifter. When Sela accidently sees Rio shift every thing get complicated. Can Sela except Rio for what he is?. Can Rio win her over and finally get him a mate. This is such a heart warming Romance!. This is a must read can not put down till you finish book! Katalina Leon is new to me ,but this book has proven what an amazing writer she is!"

First off I have to admit that this is the first book I've read from this author and I can honestly say it won't be the last book. In fact I've already bought 5 other books from this author today off Amazon. I highly recommend that if you haven't given this author a try that you do so now. This is a good book to start with!!!
Ms. Leon has a wonderfully smooth way of writing that just snaps you up and holds on tight. You literally feel what each character is going through.
Now about the book alone - I loved Rio best. I also love that he is Native American. He sounds so hot looking and he was so lonely and vulnerable. He had always felt that way and was at the stage in his life now that he had pretty much given up on the idea that he would have anyone to share his life with. But he wasn't bitter about it. He was strong and accepted that as something he was going to have to live with. Then he meets Sela who just rocks his world and beliefs. Suddenly he had a chance at happiness and love. It's so sweet how he keeps trying to get close to her but goes the wrong way about it. My favorite part of the book is when he's shifted into a wolf and is hamming it up for her. It's so funny when he gets caught shifting.
Sela is a great character also. She's strong but also vulnerable. She's been hurt deeply and isn't looking for love or sure she can trust again. Then Rio comes along. She can feel that he's as lost and lonely as she is and can't help but let him in. It also doesn't hurt that he's hot and she can't help but be attracted to him. I liked how she was scared but didn't panic or start screaming when she finds out what he is.
I find it so cute that they have the same last name only in different languages. Waya means wolf and Lopez means wolf. It's like the fates had lined them up just for each other. Super cute. I also want to say that the cover of the book is great. The guy is hot.
I loved the book. The only thing I wish was different about the book would have to be that it was longer. I would've liked to know more about them. This is a really good book.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good paranormal romance to read.
