Last week was a busy week. I edited and turned around two novel length books and I still had the energy and enthusiasm to jump right into a new Sci-fi WIP. I don't know where it's coming from but my muse is happy and ready to work this summer. I'm not going to complain.
One of the books I finished last week was something completely new for me. It's more sensual than erotic and very romantic in an old-fashioned way. I submitted it to a new publisher who handles sweeter romance. It's a contemporary story and a post World War II era romance rolled into one. Two separate but strongly overlapping stories are told from two different perspectives. Part of the book takes place in the present with a granddaughter and is told third person. The other part of the story is the grandmother's POV told first person through her diary. The locations are the same but separated by nearly seven decades. Fate takes both women for a passionate ride but only one will get the happy ending she hoped for.
Fingers crossed the new publisher will be interested...
The other book is "Lord Griffin's Prize" which is part of Ellora's Cave upcoming book series Emerald Isle Fantasies. There are a lot of great books in this series, steamy adventures with otherworldly men, so please keep your eyes open.
