Hope you had a lovely day Tessie. I heard a rumour that the Aztecs only raised Turkeys for their feathers. These were much sought after by the 'in' crowd when it came to head-dresses...Hmmm..maybe I started that rumour!!
ReplyDeleteAs for point 9 - well nothing changes does it!?
Kat, Happy Turkey Day back at ya!
ReplyDeletePamela, I loved both # 8 & 9!!
Great facts! I've seen some wild turkeys out here lately that can rival barnyard turkeys in size! Happy TG!
ReplyDeleteJulia- I also learned that wild turkeys sleep in trees, and can fly really fast. I can't remember the miles per hour right now because it's late and my tummy is overly full. I hope you had a great holiday.
ReplyDeleteI so hope you had a wonderful, wonderful day!
