Recently I've seen a surge in hits to both my blogs. This is great, but I'm not sure if it's readers or friends. Friends and fellow authors drop by each others blogs and leave comments all the time. It's great how we all support each other, but I want to know what the readers think.
Do you enjoy author's blogs? Do you leave comments? Why or why not? Is there something you'd like to see more or less of or hear about?
Sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my time blogging all week long. I'm not sure if it's paying off. So readers I want your opinion.

ReplyDeleteAlso, before I was an author, I was unfamiliar with blogs etc and didn't visit them.
Me, too! Unless you are "in the business", you don't often get to be familiar with blogging and looping and all that stuff. That's why I encourage people who write me fan e-mails, etc to get involved.

ReplyDeleteI've asked myself this same question. I've had readers leave comments at my other sites but never on a blog. I wonder if readers are shy to join in? Readers if you're reading this- we writers love to hear from you! Please feel free to join in on the blogs.

I am not only a reviewer, but first and foremost a reader. I guess you have to be one to be the other, lol. Regardless, I DO read books, and author blogs. I also leave comments~ Sometimes too often, lol. I enjoy seeing contests( Like all I am sure ;) ) I also like seeing that authors are human! That is probably one of my favorite things. Seeing the humanity.

ReplyDeletei read and lurk once and a while ill comment but not often i will if there isnt a huge list of ppl commenting because i dun wanna seem like im copieng someone elses opinion or ask the same question and sometimes getting threw hundreds of comments is hard for me
